Just when I was ready to buy a bathing suit.....

Well, we were sure that winter had come and gone without any snow, and then last week - nearing the end of March and the week before Easter ... it snowed. Weather in Sweden is completely unpredictable. We were actually really excited to get snow - and we had completely given up hope and then it came. =)

Its funny because Ron's friend Eric came to stay with us all last week and it was raining when he showed up - windy and sunny throughout most the week and then it started snowing right before he left, so we feel like he got to experience a few seasons in one week.

And here is a picture of Ron and Eric, we are so happy that he came and visit - its really nice to have an American out here to talk to and hang out with.

Home Sweet Home

Alright, so you probably saw the post where I decided to take down the light blue wallpaper in the entryway - only to discover red wallpaper underneath? Well, after having red walls for awhile, I finally decided to bite the bullet and spend an entire weekend painting the entryway white. It was a total nightmare, but now the walls are white and we don't feel anxious every time we walk into our place. =)

We also bought some new stuff, like a rug and a sofa bed, so here are some pictures. Enjoy.

And we also got some new furniture, like this really great sofa bed and we got a new rug. Our place definitely feels more 'lived in' now.

Friends and Family - if you come to stay with us, this will be your bed. =) Its really really comfy and nice to sleep on - we love it!!!




Heres our new rug...it helps with the acoustics in the living room. Its a little bare and our ceilings are 8ft tall, then along with the wooden floors - it echoes alot.

We've actually had our eye on this rug for awhile. =)
